This followed the association's National Executive Election, held on Saturday, August 1, at the school hall in Ala-Ijebu, Ogun State.
A joint statement from the newly elected National President, Mrs. Adesimbo Peters, and National Publicity Secretary, Prince Temitope Ogunbanke, confirmed the outcome of the exercise.
Mr. Oladele Ogunnaike emerged as First Vice President and Dr. Yusuf Adebayo as Second Vice President. Chief Sunmola Alowonle was elected General Secretary, while Mrs. Oluwakemi Soyemi will serve as Assistant General Secretary.
Other members of the incoming executive include Mr. Olawale Odunnaike as National Treasurer, Mrs. Abisola Kolawole and Mrs. Nuratu Adebogun as Auditors 1 and 2 respectively, Alhaja Monsurat Lawal as National Financial Secretary, and Mrs. Bolanle Balogun as National Social Secretary.
Speaking after her election, Mrs. Peters said her administration would prioritise unity among members and work to support the growth of both the school and its alumni body. She pledged a purposeful and impactful tenure, with plans to improve infrastructure at the school and support students academically.
"My focus is to strengthen our unity. I pledge to lead a purposeful and impactful executive. We will give back to the alma mater by improving infrastructure in the school and assisting the students to excel in their academics," she said.
The ISDGSOSA National Electoral Committee, which conducted the poll, congratulated the newly elected officers.
The committee's Chairman, Chief Joseph Odufuwa, and Secretary, Alhaji Rahmon Olusada, described the election as credible, noting that the result reflects the confidence delegates have placed in the new leadership.
