Governor Sanwo-Olu Receives Duke, Duchess of Sussex.



Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has pledged to support foreign innovations which would bring about development and growth of Nigeria.

Governor Sanwo-Olu stated this after a closed door meeting with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who paid him a courtesy call on Sunday at the Lagos House Marina.

The Governor commended Prince Harry's use of Invictus Games, to help serving members of the Military as well as veterans in overcoming their physical or mental health illness or issues which assist them in developing a sense of belonging and increased self-esteem.

Governor Sanwo-olu assured the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of Lagos state government's support anytime the Invictus Games is brought to Nigeria.

The Governor who hinted that Prince Harry and his wife have been to Kano and Abuja, urged them to explore the many historical sites in Nigeria to be abreast of its rich cultural heritage.

The Duke and Duchess Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were received by wife of the Lagos State Governor, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and some members of the Lagos State Executive Council.
