NUJ,LAGOS COUNCIL CONGRATULATES COMRADE YAHAYA ON VICTORY AS NATIONAL PRESIDENT

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ Lagos State Council has congratulated the new national President, Alhassan Yahya, the Deputy President, Abimbola Oyetunde, National Financial Secretary, Samuel Dada, and other members of the Central Working Committee on their election.

In a statement signed by its Chairman, Adeleye Ajayi and Secretary, Tunde Olalere, NUJ Lagos said it is undoubtedly a victory well-deserved and the news of their victory at the election was widely celebrated by journalists in the State.

The State Council expressed optimism that the union under their leadership will flourish beyond the giant strides attained under the immediate past administration.

It also urged them to hit the ground running with laudable programmes.
