Over Six Hundred Indigent Residents Benefit From Sanwo-Olu Cares Initiative In Two Months

In a bid to alleviate the suffering of indigent Lagos residents, another Two Hundred and Seventy- five people have benefitted financial support from the Sanwo-Olu Cares, Sanwo-Olu Listens initiative .

This brings to a total of Six hundred and twenty-seven beneficiaries this year who received between Three hundred thousand naira and One point five million naira through the programme, supervised by the Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement.

While speaking during the Cheques presentation at Alausa, Ikeja, Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Legislative and Civic Engagement, Tajudeen Afolabi, urged the beneficiaries to utilize the funds appropriately.

Afolabi also urged them to take advantage of the Health Insurance scheme, Ilera Eko to enhance their general well being.
         
Some of the beneficiaries who were visibly elated appreciated Governor Sanwo-Olu for upholding integrity by fulfilling his electioneering promises to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the state.
            
The financial assistance varies from house rent, to small scale business upgrade, school fees, medical bills, among others.
